For the past ten years, Dance Northwest has provided a professional development programme for dance artists in the region, as a part of the national network of dance agencies. In that time the dance portfolio in the North West has seen an expansion of dance practitioners, dance companies, dance development posts and dance hubs.
It's been a fantastic decade working with and for the dance artists of the North West and it is exciting now to be looking at a new future led by our agencies.

Dance Northwest’s work has been far-reaching and significant, facilitating a diverse range of projects and services, and developing dance in the region. Soon to be posted - ‘Moving On’, a document celebrating the work.

ch4pterAs Dance Northwest will be operating as an unstaffed organisation, Dance Link and the Mini Link weekly updates will finish at the end of March 07, for the foreseeable future.

These periodicals have paved the way for the Directory of Dance - a unique online resource for all those working in, watching or interested in dance throughout the region, which will become increasingly more important in its role as the North West dance map.
